More Halloween Fun!

We took an afternoon bridge walk yesterday. When we got to the top of the bridge, we took a few minutes to watch 3 dolphins swimming in the water! They jumped a few times and it was so exciting to see.
Lounged out with her feet up... while constantly asking to "go to playground please".
After our walk, Daddy and Addison read Dora Halloween and we watched football, while Mommy made dinner.
What a combination- firefighter hat and Snow White princess shoes!

Eating chicken tacos for dinner!
On Sunday morning, helping Mommy make caramel apples.

She kept sneaking handfuls of mini chocolate chips :-) Mommy said it was okay. She tried a walnut but wasn't a big fan. Wish I had a picture of that face!
Going for a morning walk.
Hello Mr. Pumpkin!
She wanted to sit with it- even though it was so sunny. She about sat ON IT! Phew- it was close.

Carving Our Pumpkin

Giving the pumpkin a hug before we start carving it.
Carving our pumpkin this morning in our PJs- Addison chose to wear her beach shoes, too.

Addison was such a good scooper! She loved helping separate the seeds so we can bake them later.

Mommy wasn't so creative... maybe next year Daddy will carve it and make a better face. Addison asked for a BIG mouth and triangle eyes.
Addison sure likes it!
Talking as usual while we're trying to take pictures.

Another hug for Mr. Pumpkin
A short video clip while scooping.

Halloween Weekend!

Playing with one of her fabulous Birthday gifts- LEGOS!

At Boo Fest in Lakewood Ranch. The girls are ready for some FUN!
So many people to watch!
Dinner at MacAllisters.
Laughing at Taylor.
Being silly with Uncle Bob.
Waiting in line for the pumpkin patch.
Hard to get 2 busy girls to sit still and look the same direction at once!

Helping Daddy push her stroller.

Reading a book at Little Bookworms.
Headed to the car- late but exciting night! An adult dressed as Big Bird was walking behind us to the car. Addison yelled "HI BIG BIRD" as loud as she could twice and Big Bird finally realized she was referring to her! So she talked back to Addison- and Addison thought that was so great!

Here's the only video clip I could get- it was very dark, but Addison "danced/hopped" her way to the car. She loved the music- as usual! She is a dancing girl!

Grandpa Lucas

Grandpa Lucas was recognized by Sarasota County. The Cal Ripkin (formerly Little League) Baseball Complex will be named after him. This is the only picture I have of the sign- it is actually in place now and looks so nice. The official naming won't be until February, but here are some pictures from the presentation at the County meeting on Tuesday morning.

Dad did another great job speaking for the family and how proud we are of Grandpa. He mentioned how we can all feel Grandpa's smile (and his tears of pride) as he looks down from Heaven at the sign with his name on it.
