Our Exciting Purchase!

We had a lovely last morning of 2010. We went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel, then went to visit our lot that we purchased! We have been looking at existing homes for the past couple of months, and decided a few weeks ago to purchase land to build a house in Lakewood Ranch Country Club East. We will spend the next 3 months picking out the finishings for our home, then close on the house in March and begin construction in June. We are very excited. Look for updates on here as we begin this new adventure!!
She loved the rocking chairs!

Here's the sign at the entrance of our neighborhood.
Had to include the wreaths on this one- I love their Christmas decorations!
Addison posing in front of our sign. Our lot is 3/4 of an acre which allows us a backyard for lots of play space!
Here are Addison and Aaron running around. I took the picture from our back yard and they are about where our pool cage will end. We were excited to meet one of our neighbors while we were out there. She was a very friendly woman. She told Addison she would LOVE her dogs.
She loves making this cheesy face while saying "CHEESE"
Here she is again with her cheesy grin!
When we left, there was a polo match at the polo field. You can only imagine how excited Addison was to watch the horses running around!

Addison's Haircut... etc

Addison and her Bitty Baby, Lizzie
Rocking Lizzie to sleep
Addison did this on her own... She moved all the toys she could to create a choo choo train. She's standing on her bench and there are toys behind her too. We couldn't get a picture of her directing all the animals to say "choo choo and chugga chugga" or telling Aaron to sit on the pony and me to sit behind her and ride on her choo choo. It was too funny.

Last night after bath, I decided to trim Addison's hair. I only took an inch off because I was afraid I would make a mistake. I knew I could take her somewhere to get it fixed if I did. It turned out pretty good! I didn't take an after picture yet, so I'll do that today.

She seems like she's growing up so much by the things she says and does. Makes us smile everyday for sure!

Christmas Pictures

There are SEVERAL posts of Christmas pictures. Be sure to scroll all the way down and click "older posts". I posted lots of pics today and they had to go to the other page. Didn't want you to miss out on all the other pictures! Enjoy!

Dear Friends

Leanne sent me these pictures from our visit the other night. We so enjoy spending time with Leanne and Matt and miss them dearly. Look forward to their next visit!

Day after Christmas

On Sunday morning, Addison still had lots of presents to open from Santa Claus. Here she is opening a few of them...
2 train sets!

A cool game where you match textures and colors.
And of course, her trampoline!
Addison loves jumping on her trampoline- this was taken after she had been jumping and singing for about 2 mins already!

Last night while we were getting dinner ready, Addison was busy building something in her room. She called us in to see and this is what she made! She created a train with her books, then put one of her "friends" on each one to make a train. Too funny.

Christmas Day

Breakfast at Grammie and Papa's before opening more presents.
Posing for a picture in front of her stack of gifts!
Can you tell she's excited?!
Opening her stocking (didn't make it all the way through... have to finish later).

A Hello Kitty wallet!

Her first backpack... she's been asking for this for MONTHS! Grammie said she almost gave it to her early.
Addison knew what this was after ripping a tiny piece of paper off- she's been asking for this for a while too! She loves to play with Isabella's in Tallahassee.

Lots of furniture for her BIG dollhouse!

Helping pass out gifts to Great Aunts and Uncles
Opening another gift!
An adorable lavender scented bunny that can be warmed in the microwave! She named her Fluffy!
Opening gifts!
Having a little snack

Wearing her backpack!

Such a big girl! She said earlier, "Grammie, I have to go to school now".

Showing Great Aunt Patti her dollhouse

Dinner time- caught most with their mouths full! Sorry!

Back to her dollhouse!

Having a lemon cookie.
Addison decided to open the rest of her gifts from Grammie and Papa once everyone left.

Playing with Papa

Dancing Girl!
Dancing and hugs...

Addison LOVES to dance if you weren't already aware of that from all of our previous blog posts!
