Wednesday Night FUN... and gymnastics

Friends of ours invited us to a charity event yesterday... spur of the moment. We are so lucky to have my parents who agreed to keep Addison so we could go enjoy ourselves. It was at Mattison's on 41... CASINO NIGHT! So we joined our friends, Carly and Steve for a delicious dinner and fun conversation, then started gambling with $1000 of chips each (not real money of course). Aaron hung out at the craps table, which I did too at the beginning, then I moved on to Texas Hold'em. I should've won 2 hands, but 2 beginners beat me. They had no idea what they were doing. I knew a little more than they did so I thought I had it in the bag with pocket kings on one hand, but not so much. Aaron got in on another game and we had to split the pot 3 ways! That rarely happens. Anyway... we had an awesome time on a Wednesday night with friends, dinner, wine and gambling!!

At the craps table
Aaron went from $1000 to cashing in with $1800- in about an hour! This was just a taste of our trip to Vegas in July!

Aaron joined us at gymnastics today!

Mrs. Carolyn had the rope swing out today! That's one of Addison's favorite things.

Addison and Taylor love to sing this song at gymnastics and at home, too!

Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny visited Addison on Easter morning! She slept in a little bit... 8am... after being up "partying" the night before until after 10!

Addison always gets excited about her gifts!
New beach toys

Hello Kitty eggs filled with one of her favorite things... MONEY!

MONEY

Dora body wash

All kinds of fun stuff!

The Easter Bunny filled this bag full of fun stuff for Grammie and Papa's pool.

Minnie sunglasses and a matching Minnie suit. A Nemo kickboard and other pool toys.

Addison went down for a nap before everyone arrived on Sunday. We feared her crabbiness when she woke up, but figured a nap would do her good since she'd been up late quite often lately. She woke when everyone was there. You can tell by her face how thrilled she was to be awake. She got very nice things in her Easter baskets from Grandma/Grandpa (aaron's parents) and Aunt Nel and Uncle Tim. She even got an egg full of money from Great Grandma! It took her a while to warm up... the pool helped. You should've heard her towards the end and once the house cleared out. She was NONSTOP dancing and talking. She just needs time and she's ready to go! I think she used all her energy the night before at Aunt Sandy's party.

Dad did an extra great job with the lamb. It was DELICIOUS!

Dinner time!

Once dinner was over, it started getting very windy outside and began thundering. Aunt Amy and Addison were looking outside to see if it was raining. Addison was not a fan of the thunder... we haven't heard it that loud in a long time!

Addison got a PEZ dispenser from the Easter Bunny and shared her candy with everyone.

I have TONS of pictures to post. Here are some from Saturday. I'll post the ones from Easter Sunday another time. I did put some of them on Facebook because that's so much quicker!
