Lots of Laughter

Sunday night before bathtime...
Smiling like a princess- tv kept catching her eye- there was a snowman on the music channel.

I took this video tonight- excuse the towels on the chair behind her that need to be folded. Watch to the end to hear some belly laughs that are contagious! Silly girl!!

A few days worth...

On Thursday, we took Addison for her Christmas pictures. She got to ride on the merry-go-round when we finished.

After the mall, we met some of Aaron's family for lunch who were visiting from Illinois. It was a short visit, but so nice to see them! Here's Addison's Great Grandma Trudy looking at a photo book with her.
Grammie and Papa gave Addison some bath paints in her Halloween goodies. Here she is painting herself candy apple scented green!

Saturday morning we went to Addison's favorite toy store to visit Elmo! We walked in the store and there he was! She walked right up to him and gave him a BIG hug- like she just saw him yesterday. That was one of many hugs throughout our playtime at the store.

Here she is working at the produce stand. This is one of the many fun activities she enjoys at the Learning Express.
We met her friend, Melanie at the store! Here they are "sitting" on their tricycles. Neither one will pedal- they both prefer to be pushed! haha
Addison was so tired at this point- we left the toy store and went right home for an early nap.
One more picture before we pay- she loves saying hello to the big bear.
After naptime, and a trip to the Outlet Mall, Addison and I went to Grammie and Papa's for a delicious dinner. Addison loves to play in the sandbox they created for her and Isabella. Aaron was in Tallahassee for the football game so we spent a girls day shopping!

CHEESE!!!
Following Papa to the grill to cook the steaks. She has to supervise to make sure hers is prepared just right :-)
Watching Papa. She doesn't want to get too close!
A little further this time.
Sitting down for dinner with Grammie and Great Grandma Lucas.
"Papa sitting now, too" says Addison.

Happy Veterans Day!

So honored to be related to these 2 men and the MANY other family members who have proudly served their country. We are so blessed to have such courageous men and women in our family who have fought hard for the freedom we have today. Thank you to all the Veterans and may you enjoy this day that is in celebration of YOU!
Wait just a minute! I think I hear a chant starting...
U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
Dad: US Navy, Vietnam

Grandpa Lucas: US Navy, WWII and Korean War

Videos

Here are two videos I took while we were waiting for Aaron on Friday in Tallahassee. He went into the office for a little bit while we went shopping. I finally got Addison on video saying her full name- this has been an ongoing battle for me to get videotaped for weeks or maybe months now!! Phew!

November

At Addison's favorite toy store- The Learning Express. We took Grammie with us on Thursday- it was decorate a plate day! We made a plate for Santa Claus' cookies.

We arrived in Tallahassee on Friday afternoon. Here we are getting ready to leave and pick Isabella up from school! It was very chilly up there.
We went to the mall afterwards. Here are the girls being silly at their favorite department store Macys... aka The Star Store.
At dinner- On the Border. Both girls are working hard!
Chips and Salsa!
What a face!
Tailgating on a CHILLY Saturday!
In the low 40's.
Jen and Christian
Keeping warm and having a snack.
I tried to share my blanket with Addison but she didn't want it.

Playing catch with Daddy

Tailgating was too chilly, so Addison and I met Grammie, Papa and Isabella for breakfast.

Checking the mail with Isabella and Aunt Amy

Showing Grammie the inflatable turkey and football player next door.

Making snowman cookies

Playing Go Fish

Addison and I picked Aaron and some other guys up from the tailgate and went over to a friend's house for dinner. It was late, but Addison was in rare form. She was very comfortable watching the largest TV we've ever seen- 110inches! She played while everyone visited and watched football.
Here she is rolling around on the floor.
Pretending to go to sleep.

Going up and down the stairs in between the room with the BIG TV and the pool table. Not sure which she liked more!
