new pics

On Saturday I decided to make Mommy and Daddy really excited and take 8 steps. Since then, I stick to my usual 2-3 steps, then sit down and laugh. Mommy and Daddy say it's fine if I take my time. You can see the video of my 8 steps Mommy posted on Saturday- next post down.
Here I am playing with my shopping cart before heading to Playaway on Friday.

The swings sure were fun at Playaway, but they made me sleepy!

Big yawn! It's naptime!
Crawling through the tunnel- there's Melanie behind me!
Here I come!
Mommy got our fall decorations out this weekend. I love the pumpkins!

We went to Grandma Kerry and Grandpa Barry's house to celebrate Daddy's birthday early. We'll celebrate again this weekend in Tallahassee!

What is Grandpa Barry doing to me?
Looking out the window with Grandma Kerry- peek-a-boo Grandpa Barry!
Grandma sure put a lot of candles on Daddy's cake- 28 to be exact!
Hurry Daddy! Blow them out before the house burns down!

So Proud of Daddy...

Daddy was the featured article in Symetra's (his company's broker/dealer) newsletter. Sadly, Mommy can't figure out how to link the PDF file onto the blog. If you would like to see the article, send Mommy an email and we'll happy to email it to you. He's been so busy with work lately- not only with his new position, but he continues to do well with his existing and new clients! So much so that he continues to rank in the top 40 (#29) producers for the entire Symetra company! He qualified for another trip this year- to Washington state- but Mommy and Daddy declined because it falls on my first birthday.

Since Daddy's been busy this week, Mommy and I have kept busy as well. We went to a baby shower for a friend of Mommy's from work last night. I was such a good girl throughout the entire dinner- almost 2 hours! I got to play with a balloon for a little bit- which I LOVE!! I was so worn out from all the fun, I fell asleep in the car on the way home-- it was 9:00-- 2 hours past my "bedtime". Then tonight, Grammie and Papa took us to their "club" for dinner. We had lots of fun as usual. I was out late again tonight- I'll have to catch up on my sleep tomorrow during naptime.

Balloons always make me so happy!

Such a good eater!
I love my picture album book.
So happy with Grammie and Papa.

big girl

Mommy had work meetings Friday and Saturday, so I spent an extra day with Grammie on Friday and spent all day with Daddy on Saturday. When Mommy got home on Saturday we had some friends over to watch the FSU game. The game was so exciting I didn't go to bed until 900! Even with everyone's yelling and screaming I slept well. I was still tired Sunday and took a 4 hour morning nap! WHEW!! Here are some pictures...Ready for Grammie to come pick me up and take me to my
playgroup Friday morning!
Hanging out with Daddy during the game.
Having a little snack.
Playing with my mirror.
Daddy and Uncle Bob were playing with Taylor and I in the kitchen!
So silly!
Sunday morning I went shopping!
Got my purse!
Here's my purse Mommy!
Helping fold the clothes.
Gorgeous hair after a 4 hour nap!

Pointing at Mommy's shirt- I can always spot a Seminole!
There it is! Go 'Noles!
On Monday afternoon, while Mommy and Daddy were working,
Papa took me for a dip in the pool!
I was so excited to go in, they didn't even put my bathing suit on!
I LOVE to splash!

Are you ready for some football?

We are! We went to Tallahassee this weekend for the FSU/Miami game. We had a great time with family and lots of friends. There are 2 videos- one of Daddy playing ball with Isabella and one of the awesome flyover Mommy and Daddy saw at the game. Even though the game didn't end the way we wanted it to, I enjoyed my 2nd tailgate (this time I didn't have to stay bundled up in my stroller) and had a fun time with Grammie, Papa, Aunt Amy, Uncle Chris and Isabella while Mommy and Daddy had fun at the game.
We arrived in Tallahassee!
We went for a wagon ride Sunday evening.

I sat in the grass and watched Daddy play ball with Isabella.
She's so good!
Yay! Hit the ball Isabella! Here's a video of Isabella hitting the ball and running the bases.
She rarely missed- Daddy says she's a good hitter and thrower!
She's really fast too!
Uncle Chris read me a good story.
Good morning! Isabella helped Daddy get the tailgating gear out of the shed. Here we are at the tailgate! Amanda let me wear her pretty beads.
Firing up the grill for the fajitas!
Enjoying my milk after my lunch.
Daddy this is FUN!

I LOVED pointing out the Seminoles- they were everywhere!
Blair and Andy being silly

Uh oh- time for a NOLES cheer
N-O-L-E-S!
Getting ready to head to the stadium!
Shaking hands- what's that about?! This is FOOTBALL!
The "missing man" flyover in tribute to Scott Speicher, FSU grad, 1st casulty of 1991 Persian Gulf War. Sorry it's not the best video. Not sure that anyone in that stadium went without goosebumps. Sure reminds you how great it is to be an American- and how proud we are of that!
