Thankful

It's so hard to believe that Thanksgiving came and went so quickly! We had so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful weekend filled with lots of fun times and memories in Tallahassee with Mom, Dad, Amy, Chris, and Isabella. Then we traveled to Gainesville Saturday morning for the embarrassing loss to Florida. Despite the horrible football game, we had a great day tailgating with many friends. We've decided that we're not going back for a Florida/Florida State football game in Gainesville unless we are sure our team will win. Many of the Gator fans were not very friendly and that made it miserable when we were beat so badly. Now we're getting ready for Christmas! We've started decorating and are looking forward to the fun get togethers with family and friends in the upcoming weeks. Look for pictures of our holiday fun soon!

Here we go...

So this blog thing is brand new to me. I thought this might be a fun way to keep friends and family updated. I'm hoping I will keep it updated because I think it'll be fun!

It was 3 years and 2 months ago that Hurricane Charlie decided to give us a little scare and extra stress for our wedding day. I don't understand how the time goes by so fast! We live in Sarasota and are so happy to be here near our parents and lots of great friends. Wish my sister and her family were here too, but maybe someday...

Aaron knows about this blog, but probably won't contribute much to it. That's okay. He's really busy right now with his great job that he loves. He works in financial planning, retirement, and life insurance for the Gabor Agency (based in Tallahassee). He gets to work from our office at home- nice huh??! He is working so hard lately to get things started. He's been with the company for almost 3 months. I celebrated my 1 year anniversary at All Children's as a Speech Pathologist. I love my job. Nice working Monday-Thursday and having 3 day weekends. Can't beat that!

It amazes us each and every day how much the saying is true that "things happen for a reason". There are so many aspects and events in our life that have just fallen into place so nicely and we couldn't be happier about them.

Wish me luck as I start this new blogging adventure. Hopefully I'll keep it going and even get some new people to join as I go!
