LaPlaya Vacation

We have made it a tradition to vacation at the LaPlaya in Naples. This was our 3rd year going and we enjoy it more and more every time. It's nice because it's not even 2 hours away, but yet we feel relaxed and have lots of fun when we go there. We spent 4 days there and Addison enjoyed every minute of it- except that she is completely exhausted. I tried to be selective in posting pictures- we had over 100 on our camera, so I tried to pick the best ones. Enjoy!
On Thursday morning- time to go on VACATION! We'd been talking about it all week (Grammie and Papa too), so whenever we said VACATION she would get very excited.
On our way in the car! So excited!
Within the first 5 minutes of being in our room, Addison fell and bumped her lip while playing on our balcony. She is a tough cookie- only cried for a few seconds, then was ready to go. Here's a picture I sent to my parents via cell phone.
Having lunch when we got to the resort.
Aaron and I enjoyed relaxing on our balcony while Addison napped. The view was gorgeous! We usually stay on the other side of the building which has the resort view and beach view, but we got an upgrade! We haven't decided which we like better.
Addison loved pushing the buttons on the elevator. She knew exactly which ones to push after the first day.
BEACH!

Enjoying a cookie for dessert after dinner at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen). Thanks to Grammie and Papa for this cute "vacation" outfit.
Friday morning at the beach.
A little girl at the pool let Addison use her tube.
Addison loved opening the window into the bathroom.
Aaron took a picture of Addison through the window while taking a bath.

While waiting for our car at the resort, the Valet questioned the name "Cheesman". He asked Aaron if he played baseball at FSU. Then he went on to tell Aaron that he watched him on tv many times and how great of a catcher he was. Do you think that made Aaron's weekend? How much of a tip do you think that guy got?! After that, another valet the next day said to Aaron "Hey- I heard you were the best catcher in FSU history." They were well trained on making their guests feel great!
Headed to the mall for a little shopping before dinner.
Snack at Cheesecake Factory

Addison has been VERY lovely lately- lots of hugs, nose rubs and kisses. Of course, we LOVE it!

Being silly in the car- she has learned to put her glasses on her head.

Sunset- in vacation outfit #2 from Grammie and Papa!

One of the several pretty ponds at the resort.
Saturday morning- Addison slept until 9am. Phew! Look at that hair! :-)

Playing after lunch- no nap yet!
Saturday evening- having a snack at the tiki bar waiting for Mommy and Daddy's drinks
We ordered room service for dinner. We watched the horses race which Addison loves. She actually sat on the couch and asked Aaron to turn on the horses! Made her Daddy happy.

Brushing teeth before taking a walk before sunset.
Ready for an evening walk!
