Monday June 7, 2010 was another special day to honor my Grandpa, Nick Lucas. He passed away on March 6, 2010 and will be forever remembered not only as a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, but an important part of our community. This is evident by the Memorial Resolution that was put in place by the City of Sarasota recognizing all the remarkable things he did for so many people. Grandpa continues to make us so proud and we miss him dearly each and every day. We love you Grandpa! OPA!

Pat Calhoon said some nice words about Grandpa.
Dad thanked the commission for honoring Grandpa and did a GREAT job!So proud of Dad, too. He's definitely following in his father's footsteps- doing so many great things for others.
