37 week pictures

Here are pictures from this weekend. I had a sudden burst of energy this morning, so we'll see if that was just a fluke or a true sign that labor is around the corner! It would be nice if it was true. Tomorrow night is a full moon. Not sure that I believe in that, but they do say the hospitals are extra busy around full moons. Aaron and I went for a walk on the beach yesterday and a walk around our neighborhood tonight. I know they say walking is a wivestale too, but it sure can't hurt, right?! Enjoy the pictures of my beach ball belly. The days of the "bump" are long past.

My mom has a picture similar to this one when she was pregnant, so we took this last night at their house just for laughs.

Wishful thinking for fall. :) You can even catch a glimpse of my swollen ankles in this one... lovely.

37 weeks!

We are 37 weeks today~ "full term". Only 3 weeks to go until our official due date of October 1! We went to the doctor today and he did an internal exam. Addison's head is not engaged in my pelvis, my cervix is soft and about a fingertip (1cm) dilated. Not much, but better than nothing I guess. Oh yeah- good news- I didn't gain ANY weight this week! So my weight gain remained at 41 pounds. UGH! I am thinking a lot of it is water weight... wishful thinking I guess. My feet were swollen when I woke up this morning. Usually they are swollen at the end of the day, then go back to "normal pregnancy size" by morning... not today! Dr. Hoertz told us to go to a movie this weekend, because we wouldn't need a babysitter :) We will go back on Tuesday afternoon to see if anything has changed. My bags are packed and all set for when Addison decides she's ready! We'll keep you posted!

Happy September 1st!

We are so excited to think that this is the month that our daughter could be born! Our fingers are crossed that she's a September baby, but if she's not born until October, we'll be fine with that too :) We've already told her: the sooner the better! Here are some pictures we took last night and this morning. Don't think we can call my belly a "bump" anymore- probably more like a beach ball now! We go back to the doctor on Wednesday, so we'll see if anything is new! Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend!

Nursery Progress- 35 weeks!

Here are some pictures from the progress we've made in Addison's nursery. Please keep in mind we have nothing put on the walls yet and there is still some "clutter" around the room from things we haven't put away yet. But you can get an idea of the progress we've made since the last pictures! We can't believe 35 weeks have flown by and we've started our 36th week! We went to the doctor yesterday and he said we're shooting for 3-4 more weeks, so we'll see! Her head is down and she's ready to meet everyone, but we'd like her to wait 2 more weeks until she's considered "full term". But whenever she decides to come we are ready for her and look forward to seeing her!

Isabella turned 4!!

We traveled to Tallahassee last weekend to celebrate Isabella's 4th Birthday! Amy and Chris had a fun outdoor party at their house for lots of her friends. They rented a HUGE slide and had so many fun games to play. It was fun watching everyone on the slide, because of course, "Addison and I" could not participate. It's a very strange feeling knowing that the next time Aaron and I travel to Tallahassee, we will have Addison with us! We are looking forward to our first home football weekend after she's born (most likely in October). Enjoy the fun pictures!
