Greek Glendi

It is a gorgeous day today- temps in the 60's with a breeze. Great day to spend outside! We went to the Greek Glendi! Aaron and I were a little concerned when we got there and realized... no pony rides this year (Addison remembered that from last year). But luckily she soon forgot when she saw the bounce house!
Our fun day had a few bumps in the road along the way. While Addison and I were going to find a table, an older woman moved out of the way for us. While she was backing out of the way, she backed into a cone and fell over it backwards. She fell pretty hard and hit her head on the ground. Her Greek husband was concerned the most (once we realized she was ok) that his baklava which she was holding ended up on the ground somewhere. So Addison and I helped her out, held ice on her head and got her what she needed. Aaron returned to us not knowing what was going on. Once we found a table and were getting things ready, I looked over at Addison who was GAGGING on something. As I was helping her out I asked Aaron what she was eating... he said an olive. He gave her a Greek olive forgetting they have pits in them. After I explained to Addison, she said "Mommy, Daddy so silly, he forgot".
Here are some pictures and videos from our fun day.
Eating lunch and watching the dancers. Addison received many compliments on her sunglasses and boots today.
Here's round #2 of the bounce house. The first time was a little less crowded, which meant it wasn't nearly as fun. She seemed to love the chaos of the crowded "bouncie house" as she refers to it.

Bounce House FUN/Chaos!
Addison had cotton candy for the first time today. Oh- do you see "Hearts" her puppy? That was part of her Valentine's gift from Grammie and Papa. She has been taking him everywhere. Wanted to take him to dinner last night but we told her he'd get food on him. Sharing with Daddy.

Hey Look- It's PAPA JOHN'S Cotton Candy! Addison got a giggle out of that. She sure LOVES her PAPA!
Here are some videos of Addison dancing. She wanted to get out on the dance floor with the kids so badly. They had an open dance time (the 3rd video) but it was mostly older kids dancing, so she stayed on the outside and danced. She got many compliments on her dancing and many people said they wanted to see her out there dancing in a few years.

You can see her trying to do the steps like the kids are in this video. I told her Great Grandpa Lucas was dancing next to her, she just couldn't see him :-) He would've been so proud of her- I can hear him saying "OPA"!!

These guys were dancing earlier, dressed in costumes. This was the open dance time. I think Addison was a little intimidated to get out there with them. At one point, she starts trying to jump, but says "I can't jump that high". Too funny!
