Christmas Eve and more

On Christmas Eve-Eve, we took Addison to Grace Baptist Church to see the beautiful light display set to music. She loved seeing the decorations. Afterwards, we went to a friend's Christmas Open House. We had a great time visiting with Leanne and Matt who now live in Birmingham. We miss them dearly and hope they will find their way back to Sarasota once Leanne finishes law school (1 year left)! Mrs. Whitley had crayons and coloring books for Addison to play with.

Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Lucas' house before going to Church. Aunt Patti was there with her dog Nicky. He was so excited to see Addison, but Addison kept her eye on him and didn't get too close (unless Nicky came to visit her)! She's got her eye on him in this picture making sure he doesn't jump up on her.

Addison gave Great Grandma her gift
... and wanted to help her open it, of course!

After Church, Addison asked me to take her picture in the grass. She was very proud of her yearly Christmas ornament she got after her blessing.
After church, we went to Kerry and Barry's house for dinner and presents. Addison loves rocking on Great Grandma Mary's rocking chair.

Not excited for a group picture.
Time to help pass out gifts!
Ready to open her gifts.

Her very own shopping cart just like Isabella's!
A cash register from her favorite toy store. She loves playing with Isabella's cash register in Tallahassee... now she has her own!

Hanging her church ornament on her tree.
Addison decided Santa would like chocolate milk to drink with his cookies.
Here's the plate Addison helped make at her favorite toy store: The Learning Express.
Big smiles when she showed her Christmas pj's!
Hmmm.... Spiced rum and diet coke or chocolate milk... which one is for Santa? The Admiral helped Santa finish all his work... last minute building and lots of wrapping!
Both of our eyes are blinking.

Showing one of her favorite Christmas cards we got in the mail.
Addison left lettuce and a bowl of milk for the reindeer, too.
She decided she needed to taste Santa's chocolate milk to make sure it was delicious.
Santa CAME!

Sound asleep
