Go NOLES

On Monday, Aaron had a fun time playing in the Sarasota Seminole Booster's golf tournament at Laurel Oak, after the rain stopped! That evening, I joined him with some friends for the cocktail hour and dinner. We had a wonderful time meeting new people and visiting with old friends. We bid on a silent auction item- a black Seminole helmet signed by Bobby Bowden and WON! We had an awesome reserved table- not sure how that worked out... we were front and center when Jimbo Fisher spoke. Our table was right next to his. The evening was so great- over 300 people were there. This is the first year for the Sarasota Seminole Booster Club- so that's a great turnout! I had Addison's Seminole DVD autographed by Chris Weinke. All the festivities got us excited for football season... I'm sure the summer will fly by! Addison had a sleepover at Grammie and Papa's. She had a great time- of course!! We enjoyed our "semi date night".

They had part of the Riverview band there to play when we got there... then they came INSIDE and played. Our ears are still ringing. We were trapped at the bar getting a drink, so I videotaped some for you to see. (Video is at the bottom of the post) I missed recording the Seminole chop.
We sat with Sheriff Tom Knight (that's him in the white shirt)... that's Jimbo at the table next to ours.
He was a great speaker. Said lots of things we wanted to hear... we'll see how it turns out this season!

I convinced Aaron to join me for a picture.

Good morning Grammie!

Addison is changing into such a "big little girl" :-) We love to watch her play.
She loves to look at the Target toy catalog
The band playing reminded us of our college days at football games when the band would do a drum line right in front of our seats in the first row.
