Memorial Weekend

We enjoyed our long weekend in Tallahassee. We visited Amy, Chris and Isabella. Isabella had a dance recital on Saturday that was absolutely adorable, then we grilled out and played on a giant slide Amy and Chris rented on Sunday. We had a great time. When we returned to Sarasota on Monday, we were able to meet Addison's new friend, Taylor. She is just beautiful and we are so happy for her Mommy and Daddy. Addison and Taylor will have many fun times together growing up. Their Daddys often talk about the trips they will take the girls for ice cream and to the dog track- to visit the puppies of course, right!?!? HAHA

Addison LOVED all the attention from the beautiful ballerinas! She crawled on the floor while we waited for Isabella to change out of her costume.

More Beach Pictures

Mommy and Daddy took me to the beach again this weekend. I took a 20 minute nap in my tent. Now that I'm crawling, the beach was more fun. I could crawl inside my tent, then join Mommy and Daddy on their blanket. Some day I will be angry with Mommy for showing off my chunky legs (see sleeping picture below), but for now everyone says my rolls are SO cute. I enjoy trying new foods and haven't turned anything down~ so far I like everything!














I've started pulling myself up to standing this week. Both of my mattresses in my cribs (at home and at Grammie and Papa's) have been lowered because I stand up so well. Here is a video of one day Grammie caught me trying to stand up. That was a week ago- now I can pull myself up on lots of things. My favorites are to pull up on people, my cribs, and Grammie and Papa's couch.

I am so excited for the weekend. We will see Aunt Amy, Uncle Chris and Isabella. Isabella is having a dance/tap recital and we'll celebrate Aunt Amy's birthday. I'm sure Mommy will post new pictures when we return so y'all can join in on our fun, long weekend!

I love to eat everything! I had carrots with my dinner and got a little messy.

Mother's Day Weekend- 7 months old!

Hi everyone! I am 7 months old now! My favorite things to do are crawl (which I started on Friday), laugh at myself in the mirror, blow raspberries (as you can see by my drool rash in several pictures), smile and laugh some more! I am strong enough to go from crawling to sitting with ease! Mommy and Daddy sure laugh at me a lot. They say I am more fun as each day passes. I had such a busy weekend. Sunday I went swimming in Grammie and Papa's pool for the first time! I was trying so hard to smile and laugh but I was so tired that I went to bed at 600 and didn't wake up until 630 this morning!

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my friend, baby girl Rosenberg. She is due to arrive on May 21st, but I'm sure she has a special day in mind to surprise her Mommy and Daddy, just like I did! Her Daddy is my Godfather. He and my Daddy grew up together, so we're sure to be the best of friends.

BEACH!!

Hope y'all enjoyed your weekend as much as we did! We took Addison on her first trip to the beach today. We slathered the 55+ sunblock on her fair skin and bought a little tent for her to play in the shade. She was so tired on our trip out this morning, we thought for sure she'd take her morning nap in the breeze of her tent. Ha! Not Addison! She's too nosy for that idea! She is SO into her surroundings- loved watching the people and the birds. As soon as we put her in her carseat to go home, she fell asleep (literally within 2 minutes!) She took a really long nap this afternoon- the fresh air did her in! I'm sure she'll be catching up on her sleep tomorrow! Mondays are always good nap days, so Grammie says. Must be those busy weekends that wear her out! Enjoy the pictures!

Here are some pictures from Addison's first 2 days of May! We went to dinner at the Sandbar with some friends for Addison's first sunset. She ate her dinner while we waited for our table!

We took her swimming today- the water was still too chilly to get in all the way. We sat and splashed on the step. She loved it! Tomorrow we're taking her to the beach for the first time. Look for some more pictures soon!
