Halloween Night!

We had such a fun Halloween. Started out trick or treating at Grammie and Papa's house on Sunday afternoon.
Addison didn't understand why we couldn't just walk in to Grammie and Papa's house. We rang the doorbell and waited- that's so different for her!
Trick or Treat! Minnie Mouse is here!
Yummy treats for Addison- Teddy Grahams and raisins!

AND gifts on the table waiting for Addison... and Mommy and Daddy!
So excited to see what's inside.

Trying to see what's inside Mommy and Daddy's gift.

Such a pretty Minnie costume- or "pofpoom" as Addison calls it.
Before we left Grammie and Papa's, we changed out of her Minnie Mouse costume so we could go to Aunt Kelly, Uncle Bobby and Taylor's house to watch football and have dinner before trick or treating. Didn't take too many pictures- but the girls had a SUPER FUN time together as usual.
Addison and Taylor having a snack together.
Can you tell how comfortable Addison was at Taylor's house? She's laying on their kitchen floor eating her snack.
Then we went trick or treating!
2 very excited girls!
Uncle Bobby's brother, Dave pulled Addison in the wagon.
She loved the ride.
Time to get some candy!

What a cool ring!
Addison got the hang of trick or treating pretty quickly.

This house was fun- see short video below with the puppies.

Admiring the decorations!
Potato Head pumpkins!
Both girls were getting tired and decided to ride for a little bit.

When we got home, Addison was very wound up. She finished her cookie and played for a little bit, before a late bedtime. Halloween was so fun- I'm sure she'd love to celebrate everyday!

More Halloween Fun!

We took an afternoon bridge walk yesterday. When we got to the top of the bridge, we took a few minutes to watch 3 dolphins swimming in the water! They jumped a few times and it was so exciting to see.
Lounged out with her feet up... while constantly asking to "go to playground please".
After our walk, Daddy and Addison read Dora Halloween and we watched football, while Mommy made dinner.
What a combination- firefighter hat and Snow White princess shoes!

Eating chicken tacos for dinner!
On Sunday morning, helping Mommy make caramel apples.

She kept sneaking handfuls of mini chocolate chips :-) Mommy said it was okay. She tried a walnut but wasn't a big fan. Wish I had a picture of that face!
Going for a morning walk.
Hello Mr. Pumpkin!
She wanted to sit with it- even though it was so sunny. She about sat ON IT! Phew- it was close.

Carving Our Pumpkin

Giving the pumpkin a hug before we start carving it.
Carving our pumpkin this morning in our PJs- Addison chose to wear her beach shoes, too.

Addison was such a good scooper! She loved helping separate the seeds so we can bake them later.

Mommy wasn't so creative... maybe next year Daddy will carve it and make a better face. Addison asked for a BIG mouth and triangle eyes.
Addison sure likes it!
Talking as usual while we're trying to take pictures.

Another hug for Mr. Pumpkin
