Pool Party!

On Sunday we had a great time at a friend's 2nd Birthday party. Their pool was so fun and Addison enjoyed climbing the steps and going down the slide with the older kids. We didn't get many pictures because we were busy having fun. I managed to take some before we left and you can see the fish slide in the background of a couple. Addison sure loves the water- we're excited for her to start swim lessons in a few weeks. A friend of ours suggested someone that will come to my parent's pool once a week for the lessons!

Addison's Weekend

Addison cracks us up with all of her imitating lately. We have to watch what we say! She has always referred to our cat Abby as "Abba", but starting this morning before church, she now says "Abba eena". Which is a result of Abby meowing very loudly this morning and me saying- Abby enough! Now Addison says that to her.

Addison loves walking in the grass... she often requests her shoes be taken off!

Here's a pretty long video of Addison getting a little frustrated for those who haven't seen that side of her. She got this letter puzzle for Easter and it amazes us how many letters she knows just by doing it a few times.

While Isabella was here for spring break, she, Addison and Grammie often sang this song in the car. Even with Aunt Chick! So now if Addison hears this song, she gets a big smile on her face. Addison likes to sing the "bum, bum, bum" part at the very end. Hope you enjoy hearing it too!

18 months old!

Addison is now 18 months old... 1 1/2!! Guess the saying is true... time flies when you're having fun! She is growing into such a happy little toddler. She had 2 shots today at the doctor but got a lollipop from the nurse afterwards!

She still weighs 25 pounds (52nd percentile) and is 31 inches tall (26th percentile). She is such a great eater. Still haven't found much she doesn't like. Here are some pictures of her enjoying a first... shrimp cocktail at Grammie and Papa's. I think she might have liked the cocktail sauce more than the shrimp! She sure enjoyed dipping! She loves red meat- prime rib, Papa's juicy steaks, and lamb from Easter, but always eats other meats too.
